In a press release from the club Chairman Ken Boulton said: "On behalf of all the Directors I would like to place on record our sincere thanks to the players and the staff for their significant gestures of individual support. Whilst this has been extremely encouraging for the Board we feel that the fans as well can be very proud of their players who have shown they too feel strongly enough about the Club to make such a commitment."
