Gary Owers Moves On

The club released a press release saying: "The opportunity for Gary to move into a coaching role with a club who have great potential is understandable. No doubt all supporters will join with me in wishing Gary and his young family all the very best for the future. We are pleased to record all his efforts whilst at The Lawn and welcome the news that he will remain associated with Rovers. Gary will continue with his coaching skills, involving our disability groups and our football in the community scheme."

Owers said: "It is sad to leave such a super club and I have enjoyed my time and the friends I and my family have made. However, a new horizon beckons and I look to this as the first step on the ladder to extend my career in the game".
